After two years of hard work and dedication, I’m proud and excited to say I’ve officially earned my Master’s degree in Archaeology from Cornell University! It’s been an incredible journey—one filled with intense study, fieldwork, and countless opportunities to expand my understanding of the ancient world. Cornell’s program pushed me to explore the depth of human history, from unearthing artifacts to analyzing the cultural dynamics of past civilizations.
Now that I’ve reached this milestone, I’m eager to take the next step in my career. I’m passionate about the idea of curating collections at a museum or cultural institution, where I can help preserve and share the stories of ancient peoples through the objects they left behind. Curating would allow me to combine my research skills with my love of storytelling, creating exhibits that bring the past to life for modern audiences.
On the other hand, I’m equally drawn to teaching. Whether it’s anthropology or archaeology, the chance to inspire others with the same curiosity and passion I’ve developed over the years feels incredibly rewarding. Sharing knowledge and sparking the imaginations of future archaeologists or anthropologists is something I’d love to pursue in an academic setting.
I’m excited to see where this degree takes me—whether it’s in curating, teaching, or something else that allows me to continue exploring and sharing the wonders of our human past. Here’s to the next adventure!
