Conferences & Presented Research

Anthropology Conferences

Attending and presenting at anthropology conferences is a great way to learn a lot, meet some amazing people and expand your horizons.

Presented Research

Doing undergraduate research as an anthropology student is easier than you think.  Presenting that research to a group of your peers can be intimidating, but it's also an amazing opportunity to learn and grow as a person and student.

Studying anthropology provides a lot of undergraduate research opportunities and the ability to present that research at local, regional and national conferences.  Presenting gave me an opportunity to meet a lot of wonderful people and to learn from them.

American Association of Physical Anthropologists (AAPA)

The American Association of Physical Anthropologists is an international professional society of physical anthropologists, based in the United States. The organization publishes the American Journal of Physical Anthropology, a peer-reviewed science journal. I was honored to be able to present my undergraduate research there as a freshman in 2018. It was exciting presenting and defending my research at a national conference. Click here to see the poster I presented.
